Vocula privacy: what Vocula keeps on your Mac
Vocula, Vocula (vocula.app), 2026
Read the originalRead on October 26, 2026
- What it is
- The privacy page of Vocula. It says it has no account, no telemetry, no licence server and no analytics, and that nothing dictated ever leaves the Mac. It names the two network calls, both to GitHub, for the speech model and an optional daily version check.
- How much weight it carries
- The maker's own privacy page, read on 2026-10-26. The page itself notes earlier wording it corrected, so it is written to be checked. It is still the maker's statement, not an independent audit.
