ParlaParla, Voice to Text for Mac: Free, Pro and Cloud
ParlaParla, ParlaParla, 2026
Read the originalRead on October 26, 2026
- What it is
- The home page of ParlaParla, a Mac dictation app sold in three tiers: Free on the Mac App Store, Pro for a one-time $19, and Cloud for $9.99 a month. It describes offline Apple Speech, insertion into any app, optional AI cleanup and a custom dictionary.
- How much weight it carries
- The maker's own marketing page, read on 2026-10-26. It states product features but not every engine detail: its line that Free and Pro audio 'goes directly from your Mac to OpenAI' does not match the Apple Speech option in the privacy policy, so the privacy policy is cited for the on-device claim.
Facts taken from this source
