Where this number was read
This number was read by our collector, word for word, from an official public source, and the reading is kept with every earlier one. Open the exact request below to see the figure as it stands today.
- Field
- Downloads band (and the JSON-LD aggregateRating)
- Read
- October 19, 2026, and again every week
- What it measures
- Google Play shows downloads in bands (1,000+, 10,000+, ... 1B+): the figure is the lower bound of the band, so an app with 9 million downloads shows 5M+.
- How it is measured
- Once a week we open the public Google Play page (US, English) of every app in our market registry that has one and record the downloads band it shows ("1M+", the exact lower bound of the band) and the average rating and rating count from the page's structured data.
- What it does not show
- Bands hide everything inside them, so growth shows only when an app crosses into the next band. Downloads count installs, not people who use the app.
