Open the original- What it measures
- The policy was last updated 23 October 2026 and says sideOS is made by Stockimg AI, Inc., which decides how the data is used. The page says the app's speech recognition runs on macOS's own engines, on the Mac, by default.
- What it does not show
- 'We hold no copy' is the company's statement about what it holds, not a period. The 'No' for review rests on the separate 'We never see them' statement in the same policy. Audio sent to a cloud dictation engine, if the user turns that on, is handled under that provider's policy.
