Open the original- What it measures
- Audio is held in memory only until the text comes back. The page names three exceptions to dropping audio after transcription: this 15-second retry hold, the same hold for a failed Compose instruction, and a 30-second hold for undoing a cancel.
- What it does not show
- The period is measured in seconds, not days, so the row carries the page's words and no day count. The page does not say how often a failed dictation occurs.
