Open the original- What it measures
- The policy says Notely uses the browser's speech-recognition service or Apple's speech recognition on iPhone to turn speech into text, and that Notely's servers receive the resulting transcript, not the meeting audio. Text is sent to the AI provider to create summaries.
- What it does not show
- The word 'intentionally' is the policy's own qualifier. The homepage says 'Your audio is never stored', which is a stronger claim than the policy's. The browser's or Apple's speech recognition provider may process audio under its own privacy practices, and the policy does not cover that.
