TalkingNote Privacy Policy

Read the originalRead on October 25, 2026
- What it is
- The privacy policy of TalkingNote, an iPhone recorder that transcribes and translates speech and writes AI meeting notes. It says recordings and transcripts are stored only on the phone, that the company's server relays audio and text without storing them, that deleted recordings are removed from Recently Deleted after 30 days, and that a voiceprint is deleted after a year without recognition. It gives no retention period for data held by the third-party processing providers.
- How much weight it carries
- Read on 2026-10-25 from the publisher's own privacy page, which shows 'Last updated: 2026-10-23'. The .html address redirects to the same policy at /legal/privacy-policy.en. Data already received by Soniox or OpenAI is governed by those providers' policies, which this page does not quantify and which were not read here.
