- What it is
- Plainsay's privacy policy, effective 27 August 2026 and last updated 10 October 2026. It separates Local mode, where audio stays on the Mac, from Plainsay Cloud and the providers a user configures, and says where transcript text goes in hosted Polishing.
- How much weight it carries
- The operator's own policy, the authority on its data flows. It describes the Cloud service and its providers as they are configured, so a reader should check the mode they use. Read on 2026-10-22.
