Open the original- What it measures
- A user reported that the Dictate button had disappeared in Word for Microsoft 365. A volunteer answered with a suggestion to dictate in the free online version and download the file from OneDrive.
- What it does not show
- A community reply from 2021, not Microsoft policy. Microsoft's current Dictate article for Word says the feature is only available to Microsoft 365 subscribers, and its Word for the web steps require a Microsoft 365 sign-in. Test on your own account before relying on it.
