- The study used a mixed-methods design with pre-tests and post-tests, plus interviews and observations. Participants were chosen purposively, based on their willingness to take part and on varied Arabic typing backgrounds.
- What it does not show
- Thirty students at one institution, with no control group. The before-and-after design cannot show that the mnemonic method caused the gain rather than the practice itself.
