On Android with Gboard, you voice type by tapping a text field, tapping the microphone at the top of the keyboard and speaking when you see "Speak now".

- Google notes that talk-to-text does not work with all languages and that some steps need Android 7.0 or later. Phones that use another keyboard, such as Samsung Keyboard, have their own microphone key.
