- What it is
- A retrospective study of 38 children with carpal tunnel syndrome from two pediatric neuromuscular centers in Switzerland. Most cases had an underlying cause, and mucopolysaccharidosis was the most common one. The authors recommend a thorough search for that cause.
- How much weight it carries
- Peer-reviewed. It is a retrospective case series from two specialist centers, so it may over-represent children with complex disease. It cannot give a population rate in children or adults.
