Download languages to use offline (Google Translate Help, Android)
Google, 2026
Read the originalRead on October 17, 2026
- What it is
- Google's help page on downloading language packs so that Google Translate can translate without an internet connection, including the advice to start downloads on Wi-Fi.
- How much weight it carries
- Google's own help page, read on 2026-10-17. It states the offline behaviour in general terms and does not say which speech features work offline, so speech-offline claims need the app's own behaviour checked.
