Open the original- What it measures
- Integrity levels are Windows' ranking of how privileged a process is, for example a normal app compared with one run as administrator. A text-insertion tool running at normal level cannot type into a window that runs at a higher level.
- What it does not show
- The page also says that a blocked call does not report the cause: neither GetLastError nor the return value shows that UIPI was the reason. A dictation tool may therefore fail silently in an elevated window.
