- Microsoft describes microphone redirection as a remote session setting that sends the local microphone to the remote computer. The module says some redirections need both an RDP property and a Group Policy setting.
- What it does not show
- The module covers Azure Virtual Desktop. It does not say whether Windows voice typing or Word Dictate works over a redirected microphone, so test a remote session before you rely on dictation in it.
