Open the original- What it measures
- The leaderboard is a public benchmark that reports word error rate and speed for English short-form and long-form speech, and for several other languages. The abstract reports the 2025 version of the paper.
- What it does not show
- Most of its datasets are read or prepared speech, not a person dictating into a word processor. A system's rank on the leaderboard does not show how it will handle your voice, your microphone or your room.
