- The Audio section of Apple's specification page lists playback formats first, then the built-in speaker and the headphone jack. No microphone line appears in that section.
- What it does not show
- A specification list names what the computer includes, so the missing microphone line is evidence rather than an explicit denial. Check the page for your model. Dictation on a Mac with no internal microphone needs an external one.
