Open the original- What it measures
- The list sits at the end of Google's Docs help page on voice typing, under the heading Languages that work with voice typing. Voice typing in Google Docs runs in the browser, so the browser's speech service does the recognition, and the list applies to Docs rather than to Windows or Apple dictation.
- What it does not show
- The list names countries and regions, not dialects, and Google does not say how accurately each entry recognizes speech. A plain Arabic entry also appears in the list. Google's list also includes Arabic (Israel), which the page gives without comment. Read the list from a copy dated 10 October 2026, because the help page changes.
