What it is
The official Unicode code chart for the Devanagari block. It gives the name of each character, including the danda that Hindi uses as its full stop, and the traditional name for each one.
How much weight it carries
The Unicode Standard is the authority for character names. The chart says what each character is called, not how often people type it.
