- What it is
- The README of the Murmure repository as it stands on the main branch, including its features list, installation steps and roadmap checklist. The project describes itself as a privacy-first, open-source speech-to-text application.
- How much weight it carries
- Maintained by the project itself, so it is the developer's own account of the app. The roadmap checklist shows open tasks, not finished work, which makes it a reliable guide to what is still unsettled.
Facts taken from this source
- Murmure's README roadmap lists signing the inner murmure.exe on Windows, not only the installers, as an open item marked under consideration.
“Sign the inner murmure.exe on Windows, not only the installers, so it runs under Smart App Control” (Roadmap checklist)
