- What it is
- A 2.5-week study from the University of Washington in which people learned to move a computer cursor by voice. Five participants with motor impairments and four without used the Vocal Joystick over ten sessions, and the authors measured how their target-selection performance changed.
- How much weight it carries
- Peer-reviewed conference paper. Very small sample (nine people), and it tests a voice-to-cursor system that is not Apple's Voice Control, so it shows what learning voice cursor control looks like, not how Voice Control performs on a Mac.
