Microsoft's list of Dictation languages in Word includes three Arabic variants, Bahrain, Egypt and Saudi Arabia, in the Preview languages group.

- Word's dictation is part of Microsoft 365 and is not the same tool as Windows voice typing. It runs in Word, not in every text box on the PC.
- What it does not show
- The page groups these Arabic variants under preview languages, which Microsoft says may have lower accuracy. The list also has no Bangla or Urdu.
