Averaged over the week, the free plan's 2,000 desktop words per week comes to about 286 dictated words per day.

Checked against its source on October 16, 2026

What it measures: The weekly window is the limit that applies. A day with heavy use can use up the week early, and the desktop count includes mobile dictation.
How it is calculated: 2,000 words per week / 7 days = 285.7 words per day
What it does not show: An average, not a daily limit. Mobile dictation counts toward the same weekly total on the desktop plan, so the daily figure is smaller for people who dictate on a phone too.
