Open the original- What it measures
- Live captions is a built-in Windows 11 accessibility feature turned on in Settings, Accessibility, Captions. It captions any audio playing on the PC, and the microphone option extends it to people speaking in the room.
- What it does not show
- Microsoft's page states what the feature does, not how accurate it is. Accuracy depends on the language, the audio quality and how clearly people speak.
