- Whisper is installed with pip, the Python package installer. The version statement sits in the README's Setup section, next to the note that the authors trained and tested with Python 3.9.9.
- What it does not show
- The README says 'expected to be compatible', not 'tested on'. Newer Python releases may work, but this statement does not cover them.
