Open the original- What it measures
- In Spanish, the tilde marks certain stressed syllables, and the stressed syllable is not fixed the way it is in some other languages. The authors say the techniques were first built for English, where accent plays a smaller role in telling words apart.
- What it does not show
- This is the authors' explanation, from a 2016 paper. It is not a measurement of any current product.
