Open the original- What it measures
- Patients with a clinical diagnosis of carpal tunnel syndrome completed self-administered questionnaires before their nerve conduction studies, at a tertiary care hospital neuro-electrophysiology laboratory.
- What it does not show
- This counts what patients reported, not what the nerve tests showed. The authors found that the nerve test results did little to change how likely the diagnosis was beforehand.
