How do People Type on Mobile Devices? Observations from a Study with 37,000 Volunteers, Kseniia Palin et al., Proceedings of the 21st International Conference on Human-Computer Interaction with Mobile Devices and Services (MobileHCI 2019), 2019, Results, correlation analysis.
Open the original- What it measures
- Keystrokes per character (KSPC) counts how many key presses it takes to enter one character.
- What it does not show
- A correlation with keystroke count, not a measure of speed. Fewer keystrokes did not give the gesture group a higher average speed.
