In the source's own words

“We will maintain deidentified data in deidentified form and not attempt to reidentify the information, except solely as permitted for determining the effectiveness of our deidentification processes.”

What it measures
This is the company's own commitment about data that it has already processed to remove direct identifiers. It is a promise in the policy, which a user cannot check from outside.
What it does not show
A promise not to re-identify is different from a technical guarantee that re-identification is impossible. The policy does not describe the method used to de-identify audio.
