Open the original (DOI 10.1037/a0036577)- What it measures
- The abstract calls the compound remote associates test a measure of convergent thinking. Divergent thinking, by contrast, is measured by how many different ideas a person produces.
- What it does not show
- The same study as the 81 percent result. The walking benefit was much smaller on this test, so the effect depends on the kind of thinking being measured.
