- The guide's transcription quickstart is the developer route to speech to text in the OpenAI API. It is separate from the dictation button in the ChatGPT apps.
- What it does not show
- The guide names gpt-transcribe in its quickstart, and it also documents gpt-4o-transcribe, gpt-4o-mini-transcribe and whisper-1 for other jobs. The ChatGPT app does not say which of these, if any, it uses.
