What it measures
The question's author reported that Option + F1, as Microsoft's help lists it, brought up System Settings on their Mac. The accepted answer gives fn + Option + F1 for keyboards with an fn key.
What it does not show
A community answer, not Microsoft's own article, and it describes one keyboard type. A keyboard without an fn key may not need the extra key, so test the shortcut on your own keyboard.
