Open the original- What it measures
- The Mojave help page describes Enhanced Dictation as an option in the Dictation pane of Keyboard settings. Turning it on means the Mac downloads the software it needs first. Apple's later Dictation pages for macOS 12 and macOS 26 do not mention the option.
- What it does not show
- The statement describes macOS Mojave 10.14. It does not say that the option works in the same way on current macOS releases, which Apple's newer pages do not describe.
