- The review pooled randomised trials of splinting for adults with carpal tunnel syndrome. Its eligible comparisons were splinting against no active treatment or placebo, splinting against another non-surgical treatment, and different splint-wearing schedules.
- What it does not show
- The exclusion means the review says nothing about which splint design works best. It does not show that all designs perform the same.
