What it measures
The study divided each session into time spent typing and time spent pausing, planning or editing. The comparison is between a 65 to 83 age group and a 21 to 31 age group.
What it does not show
Based on 19 people per group in a single writing session. The share reflects how each group divided its time on that task, so it is not a measure of typing speed alone.
