What it measures
Keyword spotting listens for a small set of words, such as a wake phrase, rather than transcribing open speech. The paper explores neural network designs for that task on microcontrollers.
What it does not show
A 2017 arXiv preprint about keyword spotting. It does not measure any particular chip, and it does not cover open dictation.
