Open the original- What it measures
- Google's Docs Editors Help page on voice typing, read from the Internet Archive copy of 10 October 2026 (the live page is rate-limited for automated checks). The page covers the Tools > Voice typing menu in Docs and Tools > Dictate speaker notes in Slides.
- What it does not show
- This is a statement about what the page covers, not a claim that Google Sheets has no speech input of any kind. Google's page does not mention Sheets at all, and Sheets cells may accept dictation from the operating system or a keyboard microphone.
