What it measures
Rollover is pressing the next key before the previous key is released. The paper's fast typists are those faster than 90 percent of participants, and the slow typists are the slowest 10 percent.
What it does not show
Self-selected volunteers typing on their own keyboards. The study shows that rollover and speed go together; it does not show that learning rollover would make someone faster.
