What it measures
Claude Code's documentation for the /voice command lists the native recording module under its requirements, next to the Claude.ai sign-in and local microphone requirements. Windows is named as a supported recording platform.
What it does not show
The page names Windows as a recording platform. It does not say which Windows versions were tested, and it does not describe the transcription quality on Windows. Microphone permission on Windows must also be granted, as the troubleshooting section describes.
