Dictate text while using an Apple external keyboard with iPad, Apple Support (iPad User Guide), 2026, Tip, end of page.
Open the original- What it measures
- The tip sits at the end of Apple's page on dictating with an external keyboard. The key in the middle of the sentence is shown as an icon, and the shortcut is not named in the text.
- What it does not show
- The page does not name the shortcut in words, so this fact does not give the exact key combination. Test it on your keyboard.
