Open the original- What it measures
- Apple's product page for Apple Intelligence, read on 2026-10-16. The same section says that larger requests can draw on server-based models through Private Cloud Compute, which Apple describes separately.
- What it does not show
- A design claim from Apple's own marketing page, not an independent audit. It describes intent and architecture, and it does not cover third-party apps that send data elsewhere.
