Open the original (DOI 10.3389/fpsyg.2015.00466)- What it measures
- The two tasks were direct copying of a written word, and spelling to dictation, where the participant writes a word after hearing it spoken. Speed was measured as the time taken to start writing each word.
- What it does not show
- The measure is the time to start a written response in a laboratory task. It does not measure typing speed on a keyboard, and the sample is small.
