- Yap is made by O-mega Enterprise Inc.
- Runs on: Mac (macOS, Apple Silicon), Windows (Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit), iPhone (iPhone 12 Pro, 13 Pro, 14 or newer, iOS 17 or later), Android (Android 10 or later, 3 GB of memory or more).
- Speech is recognized on the device itself: audio is never uploaded and never used for training. It works in any app where you can type, in 25 languages.
- Price: Create a free account in the app with just your email, and it works for 3 days, with no card. After that, start a 10-day trial with a card to keep dictating. Then $6.90 a month or $69 a year (USD); one subscription covers every device. Cancel any time before the 10-day trial ends and nothing is charged.
