Launch at login
Ready to dictate after you restart your Mac. The main window stays closed.
Account

Spoken punctuation
Off preserves words such as “period”, “colon” and “new paragraph”. Turn on to use them as English formatting commands. Applies to your next recording.
Automatic language detection
Speak in your language. Each recording detects its own language and keeps your words in it, without translation or setup.
Hold to record
Release to transcribe and insert.
Lock recording
Press while holding your recording key.
When locked, tap your recording key again to finish.
Use Fn, a modifier by itself, or a combination such as Control + Option + K. Keep this window active while choosing keys.
Make sure your key reaches the app
Another dictation app, including Aqua Voice, or a macOS Fn/Globe action may capture the same key. A working listener alone does not prove that your shortcut reaches us.
The test listens for your shortcut for 10 seconds. It does not record audio.
Floating microphone
Idle microphone visible near the bottom of your screen.
The microphone always appears while recording. When hidden, it disappears again shortly after Done. Your shortcut stays active.
Software updates
Checking update status…
Updates download automatically. Checks continue even when an update is ready. Restart now checks for the newest release first and waits for your current dictation to finish. A downloaded update also installs when you quit. Dictation history, settings and downloaded languages stay on your Mac.
Private by design
Speech is processed on your Mac. Audio isn’t saved. History stays here until you delete it. Text only goes to your clipboard when you choose Copy.
